Ladies will not be allowed to go out
of the campus, without proper permission from Warden.
Students
wanting to stay out of hostel overnight will have to
obtain permission from concerned Resident Tutors.
Marine
Engineering Branch students will have to obtain permission
from class counselor and Resident Tutors.
Number
of times students going out from hostel is strictly restricted
to twice in a month.
They
must get the Gate Pass one day in advance. Resident Tutors
will strictly monitor students going out without getting
the gate pass.
After
getting the Gate pass, students should handover the same
to the hostel security when they are going out.
While
returning back, they must report to the hostel security,
so that their return time will be noted by the security.
They
must carry college ID cards while leaving the campus entering
campus.
Guest, Parents
Visit
No guests will be allowed to stay
in the rooms unless a written permission is obtained
from the Chief Warden by the hosting resident.
Those
who fail to do so will be fined or expelled from the
hostel.
Visiting
parents should not stay in the hostel rooms.
No
guest who is ill or who has come for medical treatment
shall be brought into the hostel.
The
resident, who wants a guest to stay in his/her room for
any period subject to rules in force at the time, will
be required to pay service charges as may be fixed from
time to time.
Hostels
are out of bounds for Day scholars.
Personal Property
With the written permission of the
Warden students may keep and use Radios/Musical systems
only without disturbance to other inmates and without
causing any damage to the electrical wiring systems.
Violation
is punishable with fine or expulsion from the hostel.
Uses
of TV sets/VCRs are strictly prohibited. Computers can
be used with prior permission from the Warden at the
cost prescribed by the Warden.
The
rooms should be locked whenever the students are away and
the room keys should not be given to anyone except the
Hostel authorities.
If
the student goes on long leave he/she must vacate the room.
The
Hostel Management doest not accept any liability for the
property left in the rooms.
