The certificates should be signed by the head of the institution or by other member authorized to sign on behalf of the head of the institution owing to his/her being away on leave or other causes.

The certificate is valid for fourteen days from the date of issue for outward journey and for four months for return journey.

Return tickets are not issued. A separate order should be made for each journey. In case of return journeys the concession orders and the students’ foils should be presented to the forwarding station that will verify and make endorsements about the genuineness of the certificate affixing his signature and station stamp. If the certificate is not endorsed the station from which the return journey is to commence will refuse to issue confessional tickets.
