The College admits additionally 10 % of the sanctioned intake as lateral entry directly in the second year for which only Diploma holders are eligible.
- Lateral entry in the direct second year is not applicable for Marine Engineering
- The College admits additionally 15 % of the sanctioned intake in the first under PIO category for which students from foreign countries only are eligible. (Awaiting for AICTE Approval)

- For all second year and third year students Personality Development and Aptitude test are conducted by Smart Training
- For Computer Science Engineering students Linux Advanced Courses are conducted by Red Hat Linux India representing Red Hat USA
- For Electronics & Communications Engineering Students Digital Signal Processing (DSP) advanced Courses are conducted by Cranes Software representing Texas Instruments, USA
- For Industrial Biotechnology Engineering Students Bioinformatics Advanced Courses are conducted by Heloex
- For Electronic & Electrical Engineering Students PLC and SCADD Courses are conducted
- Common Aptitude test (CAT) coaching by TIME for students who wish to join MBA in premier institute
