For P.G Admission
All P.G Admissions are made as per the norms of Anna University.
For Master of Business Administration- MBA
- OC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree.
- BC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree
- MBC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree.
- SC / ST Category: Just pass in any U G Degree.
For Master of Computer Application- MCA
- OC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree with Maths at +2 / intermediate level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
- BC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree with Maths at +2 / intermediate level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
- MBC Category: Just pass in any U G Degree with Maths at +2 / intermediate level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
- SC / ST Category: Just pass in any U G Degree with Maths at +2 / intermediate level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
First Year Engineering Admission
All first year Engineering Admissions are made as per the norms of Anna University. All other state students are considered as OC category as per Anna University norms.
For HSE or 10+2 or Equivalent Candidates
- OC category: 55 % all together in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry including practicals is required.
- BC category: 50 % all together in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry including practicals is required.
- MBC category: 45 % all together in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry including practicals is required.
- SC / ST category: just pass in qualifying Exams.
For Marine Engineering
- OC category: 55 % all together excluding language subjects is required.
- BC category: 50 % all together excluding language subjects is required
- MBC category: 45 % all together excluding language subjects is required
- SC / ST category: just pass in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry including practicals is required
For Students from Foreign Countries
- All Category: just pass in qualifying Exam
For NRI Quota Students
- Sponsorship letter from an Indian relative who is living in a foreign country. (Original)
- Relationship certificate of the sponsor and the student. (Original)
- Nativity certificate of the sponsor. (Original)
- 1000 US dollars demand draft in favor of the college towards development charges
- NRE bank account statement copy one page with account number. (Xerox)

For Branch Transfer in II year after completing I year
- Marine Engineering : Mechanical Engineering I year with 60% pass, Electrical & Electronic Engineering I year with 60% pass
Lateral Entry Engineering Admission
All Lateral Entry Engineering Admissions are made as per the norms of Anna University. All other state students are considered as OC category as per Anna University norms.
For Diploma Students
- OC category: 59.1 % in final year Diploma or in fifth and sixth semesters of Diploma
- BC category: 54.1 % in final year Diploma or in fifth and sixth semesters of Diploma
- MBC category: 49.1 % in final year Diploma or in fifth and sixth semesters of Diploma
- SC / ST category: just pass in qualifying Exam
